Iron is critical for producing hemoglobin, a protein that helps red blood cells deliver oxygen throughout your body. So without it, everything suffers—and can lead to anemia. You're exhausted
The most common symptom of iron deficiency, it's also possibly the most difficult one to detect. "Women are so used to having frenetic lives and feeling tired," says Nancy Berliner, MD, deputy editor of Blood, the journal of the American Society of Hematology. "They often just dismiss being tired as part of life." However, iron deficiency causes less oxygen to reach your tissues, so your body is deprived of the energy it needs. If your "normal" fatigue is coupled with you feeling, weak, irritable, or unable to focus, iron (or a lack thereof) might have something to do with it. After all, there's a reason people whose iron deficiency progresses into anemia are often said to have "tired blood."
You have heavy periods
In women, the number-one cause of iron deficiency is too-heavy periods, says Jacques Moritz, MD, director of gynecology at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt in New York City. "They lose too much blood, replace about half of it, and then lose too much again the following month," he says. "It's like filling up a car with a small hold in the tank." Your period should only fill two to three tablespoons each month. Try the tampon test: If you have to change your tampon more frequently than every two hours, talk to your gyno.
You're pale
There's a reason the words "pale" and "sickly" are often used interchangeably. Hemoglobin gives your blood its red color and, thus, your skin its rosy hue. That means that low levels of the protein can suck the color straight from your skin, Dr. Moritz says. If you have a light complexion, it's pretty easy to spot. No matter your skin tone, though, if the inside of your lips, your gums, and the inside of your bottom eyelids are less red than usual, low iron may be to blame.

Да, кварцевое стекло пропускает ультрафиолет. Можно загорать.
Но речь идет о солнечном свете вообще, вне контекста загара.
Есть ещё и инфракрасный компонент. Он тоже важен.
Ещё есть эффекты поляризации. Нужен неполяризованный свет.
Думаю, тама дюже много нюансов.

Моя свекровь страдала анемией и мы ей всегда покупали только свиную печень, она по составу железа в три раза превосходит говяжью. Кстати, и сами раньше частенько свиную кушали, надо опять переходить на неё. Мне что-то в последнее время печень плохо идет, особенно раздражают протоки, которые очень трудно все полностью удалить.
На заметку - фосфаты, входящие в состав яиц, сыра препятствуют усвоению железа. Витамины С, В6, В12, фолат, кислота желудочного сока, медь способствуют усвоению железа, особенно если они поступают из животных источников. yep.gif
Перга и пыльца хорошо стимулируют кроветворение.

Таня, про свинскую печень неожиданно. Я её больше люблю и она дешевле в 2 раза. Но тут я решила пройтись по говяжьей. Надо позырить по справочникам и базам.

Не поверишь, ни разу не покупала свиную печень. Даже не знаю почему. Два дня подряд кушаем паштет из говяжей печени. Купила печень, пожарила по своему методу, а она жестковатая. Сделала паштет. Умяли.

Да, на здоровье, дорогая. Сама тоже на неё перехожу, а то я в последнее время всё бараньей питалась.
А то. Алла, а ты что, кроме печени разумеется, добавляешь? Я обычно несколько минут отвариваю сало и добавляю к печени, а иногда сливочное масло, ну и понятно разные специи.

Tatiana, На топленом масле жарю лук на слабом огне, добавляю печень (кусочки с мезинец) через минут 5-10 солю и добавляю сливки. На всё это уходит 15 минут не более. Всё готовлю на слабом огне. Потом всё это хозяйство в измельчитель, плюс пару вареных яиц. Всю массу в лотки из маскартоне. Раньше еще кусочек масла сливочного ложила, сейчас больше сливок добавляю, чтобы ложкой кушать. Специи не добавляю, только соль. Я же делаю и на внуков сразу.

Ань, при твоем малоедении, имхо, сложно питанием поднять ферритин. Не доводи до внутривенных вливаний, если решишься принимать препараты, реально работает сорбифер дурулес. Ну вообще-то врач должен назначить, а что подойдет, выяснится индивидуально опытным путем. Мне в свое время простейший фенюльс помог. А так есть много анемичных знакомых, они сорбифер хвалят.
